Christmas appeal

Following recent requests in Martin’s ‘Friday Update’ I would just like to send a final plea for your kind generosity to help us maximise our donation to the Samaritans ‘Operation Christmas Child’ appeal this year.

As a reminder we are looking to fill special shoeboxes with items suitable for a child that will be given to them this Christmas. In previous years we have filled 100 boxes and would love to achieve this again.

This is the final week for monetary donations or to send in any items. These will then be prepared for onward transition next week. Please do pass either of these to Katie on reception.

Suggestions of items include: Toys (cuddly toys, barbies, matchbox cars, small puzzles etc) stationary supplies (notepads, pens, pictures or colouring books etc) hygiene items (toothbrushes, wrapped soap, hairbrush, combs etc) or other items which could include hats, scarfs, socks, torches etc.

The full list of what you can donate for either gender can be viewed below, but please do note that we cannot include any food items or toothpaste due to the organisers restrictions.

Christmas is a time for giving to others and sharing kindness and anything you are able to donate will go a long way to helping those far less fortunate than us.
