Good afternoon to you all,
I hope you are all continuing to keep well and managed to enjoy a relaxing Easter in the glorious sunshine.
I wanted to write to keep you all informed of current thinking and future intentions as, at the time of furlough, we agreed to review matters again around this time.
Naturally, in accordance with continued government advice we remain closed at this time until we receive further guidance later this week, which we envisage will be a continuation of the lock-down measures in place for the next few weeks.
Whilst we remain closed the Directors and wider COVID-19 taskforce are working to ensure we have all necessary procedures in place to allow us to safely mobilise back to construction activity in the coming weeks. The attached latest stakeholder communication statement, which has been issued to all our clients, consultants and wider supply-chain partners this afternoon will provide further information on what is happening behind the scenes. It is imperative we do everything we can now to ensure we are ready to return and move forwards with our projects whilst ensuring we keep everyone safe and well.
At present there is nothing further for you to do other than continue to stay safe, well and as active as possible at home to protect yourselves and your families and safeguard precious NHS resources as best we can. Your ‘Out of Office’ email responses will be updated accordingly.
Once again we would respectfully request that if you have been unwell with symptoms of, or a confirmed case of Coronavirus, that you inform us as soon as possible as this is very important for our records. Please also return your furlough ‘Consent Form’ if you haven’t yet done so.
Most unfortunately, during uncertain times such as this when we are vulnerable, criminals and fraudsters take prime opportunity to exploit businesses and individuals with various scams so we would urge you to remain vigilant at all times. A few guidelines to protect you have been issued by Kent County Council Trading Standards, which are attached for your information.
The Directors and I assure you we are doing everything within our power to keep everyone safe and well whilst futureproofing the Jenner business and again thank you all for your ongoing understanding and support throughout these challenging times.
We will be back in touch when we have further clarity going forwards.
Kind regards,
Martin Sandall Managing Director
