He did it!!!

Congratulations to Will Crouch who successfully completed his mammoth challenge on Sunday 13th August as he conquered the Henley Thames Marathon – a 13km open water swim to raise funds and awareness for men’s mental health.

Thanks to the kind generosity of so many Will has raised over £4100 for charity ‘Mates in Mind’ which is an astounding amount and surely makes his efforts all the more worthwhile.

This was a personal challenge for Will in memory of a close friend and took him well outside of his comfort zone. Nonetheless he completed the 13km swim in 3 hours and 59 minutes of swim time, and just under 5 hours overall time due to transitions. The water was a lot colder than he expected and at the 4km lock apparently had turned blue, but fortunately managed to push through to the next 5km section of water by which time his colouring was slightly less concerning!

If anyone else would still like want to sponsor Will’s amazing efforts his donation page below will be open until 20th August.

Well done again Will, an heroic effort for such a worthy cause.
