Monthly Update - November 21

Good evening to you all,

As I write to you for the penultimate time this year I cannot quite believe where time has gone and that we are now heading into a busy month of festivities before we prepare our sites for the shutdown and a well-earned break for us all.

For those of you based in the office you will note that Christmas has officially arrived at Century House as the Jenner elves have been hard at work to deliver a little festive cheer to you all, and for those out on site you will also receive a visit (if you haven’t already!) over the coming days as they deliver Christmas Hampers, Mince Pies and Advent Calendars. The Directors sincerely hope you will enjoy your gift from us, which has been carefully selected to incorporate all local Kent produce and were hand-packed here at Jenner for you to enjoy over the festive period.

Understandably, spiralling cases of COVID and the latest reports of the new Omicron variant may have left you all feeling a little unsettled once again, and frustratingly just as we were starting to regain our confidence and continue to push forwards with excitement for the Christmas period. With masks now mandatory again on public transport and in shops we must view this as an additional precautionary measure for all our safety and not a cause for panic or anxiety. Jenner will continue to closely monitor changes in government regulations and take our guidance from them and the CLC, and at this time all sites and the main office will continue to operate under the same safety ruling as we have done over previous months, whilst adopting a greater degree of caution and heightened awareness for yourselves and others. The Directors and I want everyone to feel comfortable and safe in the workplace, so if you do have any concerns or questions for us as this time please do get in touch.
