Following an undisclosed application on Nigel’s behalf earlier this year (as we knew he was far too modest to have ever submitted an entry himself) we are delighted to learn that he has now been shortlisted as an overall finalist for the CIOB’s ‘Construction Manager of the Year Awards 2022’, which is openly considered as the most prestigious accolade in construction.

To reach this stage, following a rigorous initial application, Nigel has undergone further scrutiny in the form of a judges visit to site and a formal interview process in London, accompanied by Steve Restall and our client Dan Hulme. Nigel has been selected from a stellar line-up of entrants from across the UK, many from Tier 1 contractors and all of whom represent the very best leadership and talent in the built environment sector, so we hope Nigel will be immensely proud to reach this stage, just as we all are!
The Silver and Gold Winners from across a variety of categories and the overall ‘Construction Manager of the Year’ Award, will be announced at the gala ceremony in London on 28th September. Until then we’ll be keeping everything crossed that Nigel is crowned the winner, as he so rightfully deserves for his tireless efforts and unrelenting enthusiasm to deliver the ‘world-first’ project F51, and certainly the most technically challenging project in the history of Jenner.

Congratulations Nigel and very best of luck for the final in a few weeks.
