RNLI CHEQUE PRESENTATION

Phil and Stu Hards, Steve Restall and Ella presented them with the cheque for this amount which was from the share of the monies raised through our 3 Peaks fundraising earlier this year. We also unveiled and officially ‘opened’ the new weather station thanks to our previous donations. I will share some photos next week via the intranet when they come through.

So many of you kindly contributed to this, either through the blood, sweat and tears expended in climbing three mountains or through your kind and generous financial contributions so I thought you would like to know how much this is appreciated by John’s family and the Walmer RNLI. They really are so very grateful.

John certainly lives on through the amazing work of all the volunteers at Walmer Lifeboats so let’s keep supporting them as best we can.
