Staff Update - Secondary National Lockdown

Following Saturday’s announcement from the Prime Minister confirming a secondary national lockdown is to be imposed from this Thursday 5th November, I write to update you on company protocol to be implemented at this time.
Our ‘Jenner Group COVID-19 Secondary Lockdown Policy’ is attached for your information and guidance, which states our intentions as identified keyworkers to keep operating in line with government guidance to do so throughout the national lockdown.
Whilst the policy is self-explanatory and clear, for the avoidance of doubt I would like to offer you the following specific guidance:
Although the main office will remain open throughout the period of lockdown, remote working continues to be strongly encouraged as much as possible to reduce numbers present at any one time. We would however request your presence within the office for at least 1 day per week to ensure essential interaction with your team, which should be coordinated and agreed with your Line Manager on a weekly basis.
External meetings must be conducted virtually via Zoom or Teams. Visitors should be discouraged unless deemed fundamentally essential to business operation.
All sites are to remain fully operational and run under our enhanced safety measures and strict guidance from the CLC.
Heightened hygiene, cleanliness and safety measures remain in place and must be adhered to whilst observing social distancing guidance at all times to reduce your contact with others, and the risk of infection.
If you have any concerns over your safety or that of your colleagues please address these with your Line Manager or our HR Manager, Emily Barnes.
The Directors and I remain on hand at all times should you have any questions, concerns or anxieties over the next few weeks and we will continue to keep you informed on a weekly basis via the Friday Update.
